Work History: | Ms. Gordon began her musical training at age 5 with piano lessons. She is a member of one of the largest musical families in history. She is a Lyric-Coloratura Soprano. She made her singing debut with the Chautauqua Symphony in New York, followed by the New York Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Her operatic repertoire consists of more than 40 roles. Her operatic debut was with the New York Opera Company. She has done recital tours and duo-recitals with her husband, Nathan Gordon, Viola Virtuoso, throughout the U.S., Canada, Israel and Greece. Ms. Gordon has served as the State Voice Chair for the Michigan Music Teachers Association. She was also a member of the Music Panel, Michigan Council of the Arts and is a member of the Palm Beach County Cultural Commission. Ms. Gordon has served on the faculties of Duquesne, Oakland, Michigan State and Wayne State Universities as well as the University of Michigan. |
