He served as chairman to the following committees at V.P.A.R: Budget and Finance Committee, Technology Committee, Instructor Committee, and Golf committee. Mr. Carney was on the board of directors of the Virginia Association of Realtors for 6 years. He also served as a delegate on the National Association of Realtors.
